A
Q
When do I need to start packing?
If you’ve chosen our removals service only, we recommend that you start packing the non-essentials at least one week before your moving day. This should give you enough time to pack everything without feeling rushed.

We do strongly recommend our full packing service to take all of the moving stress away should your budget allow.
A
Q
What do I need to pack?
If you’ve chosen our removals service only, you’ll need to pack absolutely everything. You can leave your wall-mounted TV and white goods - we can manage all of these on moving day or a day before. We’ll also dismantle any large furniture (and reassemble it at the other end).

When you’re packing, just make sure you write on each box the room that box belongs to so that moving you in is easy. We will place each and every box in their respective room.

If you’ve chosen our full packing service, you don’t need to lift a finger! We will pack everything for you one day before moving day or earlier if requested.
A
Q
If I choose your full packing service, when do you start?
If you’ve chosen our full packing service, we will pack everything for you at least one day before your move. We use different boxes for light and heavy items and are prepared for any contingency. We recommend that you keep some essentials to one side and pack your own overnight bag for your last night in your house and first day in your new home.
A
Q
What happens on the day of the move?
Depending of the size of your move and whether we will need more than one day to manage it, we will typically be there to dismantle furniture and move all of your packed belongings from your home and garden into our removals vehicles. We aim to complete this stage of the move by 12pm on completion day. Once completion has taken place and you have your new property’s keys in hand, we will drive your belongings to your new home, protect your new property and unload all your packed belongings, then reassemble your furniture.
A
Q
What time do you finish on the day of the move?
Here at Park & Sons, we do not have a set finishing time. We’ll stay as long as we need to ensure that all of your packed belongings are positioned in their respective rooms following your instructions, and all your furniture has been reassembled.
A
Q
When and how do I pay?
This varies depending on local or long-distance moves, but in all cases we will discuss the details of what needs to be done to secure our services.  We offer diverse payment facilities to accommodate bank transfers, credit card and debit card payments to our business bank account. A receipt is provided for every transaction.
A
Q
What happens if there’s a last-minute change to completion day?
We understand that things can change quickly when you’re buying or selling a property. As long as you keep us in the loop we can help and respond positively to support any changes when possible.
